Cell phone recycling made easy

Posted at 9:23 am by Sarah Jackson

Do you have an old mobile phone wasting away somewhere?

Now is the time to donate it.

You’ll help people dealing with domestic violence.

The Everett Community College Student Activities Programs Board is collecting cell phones — and a variety of toiletries — for Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County throughout October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Even if your phone doesn’t have charger or a SIM card, it’s still a worthy donation because families in crisis can use the phones to call 911 when they are in danger.

MAIL phones and chargers if you have them to:
Everett Community College
Attn: Student Activities
2000 Tower St.
Everett, WA 98201

DROP OFF cell phones at:
EvCC's Student Activities Office
Parks Student Union, Room 209,
2000 Tower St., Everett.

CALL Jennifer Rhodes, 425-388-9509, with questions.
