It’s that time of the year – consumers are cleaning out their closets and turning to a different wardrobe with the change of the seasons. We’re sure many of you already do so, but we wanted to remind you to recycle your clothes and shoes instead of chucking them into the garbage.
Soles4Souls is a non-profit organization that collects gently worn shoes which are then distributed to those in need worldwide. Recently, they coordinated relief efforts for the Asian Tsunami and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, netting over 900,000 pairs donated for these disasters.
